Pakistan Rangers Officers Club

Officers’ Clubs in the Armed Forces have always been a significant part of life for men in Uniform. Apart from ensuring convenience and recreation to officers, it has an unmistakable professional value as well. It serves as the repository of the traditions of the Force, develops esprit de corps and inculcates a sense of discipline off parade, owing to the formality in dress and behavior. Aforesaid in view, Pakistan Rangers Officer Club (PROC) was established in February 2006.

On the direction of DG Rangers PR (S) Major General Omar Ahmed Bokhari, major renovation / uplift work has been carried out during Dec 2019. Huge amount has been spent to improve existing facilities like Gymnasium, Swimming Pool Squash and Tennis Courts, WalkingTrack and improvement of Mehran and Sachal Halls. Moreover, additional facilities have also been created/established including children play areas, coffee shop, roof top restaurants, pool side bar juice shop etc. Exclusive facilities for ladies have also been established during the recent renovation work carried out in December 2019 including beauty parlour, kids play area/ kinder garden and dedicated timings for ladies.

4 x fully air conditioned Squash Court of International Std with wood flooring, power Supply Backup, coaching facilities and separates courts for ladies.

Jogging Track

Jogging track along lush green lawns and exotic trees/ plants in a pollution free atmosphere with lighting arrangements under secure environment.


Juice Bar

For the convenience of sport lovers the club provides refreshment facilities adjacent to playing /fun areas to enjoy a variety of fresh juices, cold drinks, coffee and tea along with delicious snacks.

Mehran Hall


Well-furnished and decorated hall, air conditioning system is available for meetings, get together parties, Nikkah and Birthday parties.

Kids Play Area


To provide a comprehensive recreation facility for whole family an indoor play area has been designed to keep our young guests occupied.

Swimming Pool

Swimming pool (40 x 100 feet) with changing room, wash rooms, lockers, coaching arrangements and life guards.


Fully air conditioned Gymnasium for gents and ladies incorporates equipment of life fitness series. Gym classes are regularly held for Aerobics under supervision of a highly qualified lady as well as gent’s coaches.

Membership Criteria

Membership Requirements

  • Military.  Serving officers of Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy Station at Karachi will be granted membership on receipt of application. Selected Grade 17 and above civil officers paid out of defense establishment stationed at Karachi are also eligible to apply for Regular Membership of PROC subject to approval after an interview by Executive Committee.
  • Civilians.     Civilians of good social status living in Karachi are eligible to apply for Regular membership initially, subject to approval by PROC Executive committee after a successful interview along with spouse with Management Committee. Facility is presently opened for general public to enjoy facilities of restaurants, coffee shop, salon / SPA and Juice shop etc.
  • Rangers Officers. All Officers serving in Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), stationed at Karachi become regular members as soon as they are posted to Karachi. Out station serving officers are also eligible to apply, subject to approval by the management committee (vacancies only). The officers on retirement may continue the membership if desired provided they have been a member minimum for one year.

Applying Procedure

  • Application for membership must be submitted to Assistant Secy.

  • Assistant Secretary will submit the application to the president and seek date for interview in case of civilian applicants. Application of serving / retired officers of services will be processed without interview. Patron is the approving authority.

  • The civilian applicants will be interviewed by the Chairman/President who shall recommend the case to the patron for approval as per the policy. Patron is the final approving authority.
