Training Center & School


After the bifurcation of Pakistan Rangers into Punjab and Sindh Rangers in 1995, Sindh Rangers Training Centre and School (TC&S) was established with a company size strength at Karachi in November 1995. Later, in January 1996, it was shifted to Hyderabad. Subsequently, in order to meet training requirements and the increase in strength of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), Training Centre and School was again shifted to Super Highway, Karachi on 24 February 2003. Over the years, Training Centre and School has transformed into a prestigious training institution, mandated to conduct all types of career progression cum specialized courses for Pakistan Rangers (Sindh). It also contributes in the training of other departments like Police, Prison Department and Anti Narcotics Force.

Role / Tasks

  • Produce highly motivated young Rangers persons with sound characters, working as a cohesive Force, with pride and diligence.
  • Improve command / staff potentials through different courses.
  • Enhance knowledge of individuals on military subjects and Internal Security tasks.
  • Enhance intimate knowledge of emerging threat scenario, so as to keep abreast with ever changing environment.
  • Impart training of all weapons in use by Pakistan Rangers (Sindh).
  • Impart training to Anti Terrorist Teams for conduct of special operations and duties.
